MultNAT® Dengue Genotyping Assay
Ongoing Challanges
- The dengue virus (DENV) poses significant global health challenges due to its complex transmission dynamics, diverse serotypes, and lack of universally effective treatments or vaccines.
- Four distinct serotypes (DENV-1 to DENV-4), with no cross-protective immunity.
- Secondary infections with a different serotype increase the risk of severe dengue (hemorrhagic fever/shock syndrome) due to antibody-dependent enhancement (ADE).
Product Overview
MultNAT® Dengue Genotyping Assay is a fast and reliable diagnostic solution specifically designed for the simultaneous detection of four genotypes by multiplex real-time fluorescence RT-PCR. It provides a much-needed multiplex diagnostic solution to assist in prognosis and long-term patient outcomes.
- Simple process and integrated system with results around 120 mins
- Direct diagnosis design to provide an accurate LOD: 1000 copies/mL
- Differentiate and identify four genotypes of DENV1、DENV2、DENV3、DENV4 from dengue virus with Nucleic Acid Amplification Test (NAAT) technology
Clinical Value
- Provide confirmed evidence of infection, enabling differential diagnosis for Dengue (DENV1、DENV2、DENV3、DENV4) four genotypes.
- Predicting Disease Severity & Outcomes
- Real-time genotyping during outbreaks could help identify high-risk strains and prioritize clinical resources.
