Ongoing Challanges

  • Chikungunya and dengue are viruses most commonly transmitted by Aedes aegypti and Aedes albopictus mosquitoes. Anyone who lives in or has traveled to an area where chikungunya or dengue viruses are found is at risk for infection.

  • Zika infection is a cause of microcephaly and other congenital malformations and can cause neurological disease in children and adults.

  • Dengue and Zika have similar symptoms to chikungunya, making chikungunya easy to misdiagnose.

MultNAT® Dengue Zika and Chikungunya Virus Assay is a fast and reliable diagnostic solution specifically designed for simultaneous detection of three pathogens by multiplex real-time fluorescence RT-PCR. It provides a much-needed multiplex diagnostic solution to assist in prognosis and long-term patient outcome.

  • Direct diagnosis design to provide an accurate LOD: 500 copies/mL

  • Cartridge prefilled with glassified reagent, no need to redissolve it before use
