EasyNAT CT/NG Assay
Ongoing Challanges
Chlamydia (CT) and Gonorrhea (NG) are among the most common bacterial STIs globally, with high prevalence in sexually active adolescents and young adults.
CT/NG infections increase the risk of infertility, pelvic inflammatory disease (PID), ectopic pregnancy, chronic pelvic pain, and enhanced HIV transmission, posing a significant public health burden.
Product Overview
The Ustar EasyNAT CT/NG assay is an automated, in vitro nucleic acid amplification test for the qualitative detection of *Chlamydia trachomatis* (CT) and *Neisseria gonorrhoeae* (NG) DNA in male urethral swab and female cervical swab samples from symptomatic and asymptomatic individuals.
Fast results in 45 minutes
Designed to provide an accurate LOD: CT: 400 copies/mL, NG: 400 copies/mL
Simultaneously tests for CT & NG using non-invasive samples like vaginal, cervical, and urethral swabs.
Clinical Value
Identifies silent infections, crucial for preventing complications and transmission.
One-step operation detects low pathogen loads, reducing false negatives.
Enables accurate detection and rapid control of widespread CT/NG infection.
