The 74th American Association for Clinical Chemistry Annual Scientific Meeting & Clinical Lab Expo was held from July 26 to 28 in Chicago, the United States. This exhibition is the world's largest and most influential annual scientific conference and clinical event, with about 900 exhibitors each year, attracting more than 20,000 international medical professionals from over 100 countries.

At the exhibition, Ustar has a successful exposure of our self-developed diagnostic solutions, including EasyNAT Point-of-Care Nucleic Acid Testing System, PortNAT At-Home Self-Testing System, and MultNAT Molecular Diagnostic PCR System.

PortNAT System

PortNAT At-Home Self-Testing System offers both the convenience of antigen testing and the sensitivity of PCR testing. Users can obtain accurate nucleic acid testing results at home in a short period of time, without professional personnel and additional equipment. This year, Ustar's COVID-19 RNA Test based on this system has been approved by both CE and Australian TGA. 

Moreover, a split-type PortNAT system is developed recently. This system consists of a reusable hub (incubator) and a removable test cassette, and can provide visualized results within 15 minutes. The reusable hub is adapted to test cassettes of variable test items, including respiratory infection pathogens, sexually transmitted infection pathogens, food-borne pathogens and pet pathogens. 

EasyNAT System

EasyNAT Point-of-Care Nucleic Acid Testing System, a fast, accurate, easy-to-operate platform that does not require professional PCR labs, has played an important role in global coronavirus pandemic. The product is exported to more than 70 countries worldwide, with an installation capacity of more than 20,000 units. In addition to the COVID-19 test, it can also detect a variety of infection pathogens such as influenza A/B, monkeypox virus, Legionella pneumophila, tuberculosis, malaria, Chlamydia trachomatis, Gonococcus, and Mycoplasma genitalium.

Having witnessed the outbreak of monkeypox epidemic, Ustar developed a monkeypox virus assay based on the EasyNAT system. Featured by fast result-reporting, simplified workflow, safe and secured testing, the monkeypox virus testing system is applicable for testing in medical units, centers of disease control, customs and airports. At present, the product has been exported to America, Italy, Spain, Nigeria and other countries.

MultNAT System

The MultNAT Molecular Diagnostic PCR System, based on fluorescence polymerase chain reaction (PCR) technology, is a fully integrated and automatic system designed to meet the growing demand for multiplex, high-throughput and quantitative testing.
