Ustar has developed an automated molecular test for the qualitative detection of the novel coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2), the virus that causes COVID-19. The target genes detected by this test are ORF1ab gene and N gene. The test cartridge design integrated with nucleic acid extraction, amplification and detection, all steps are in one cartridge. The test can rapid detection of the SARS-CoV-2 in 25 minutes with less than one minute of sample loading. The test is used on Ustar's EasyNAT^® System, which have a worldwide footprint of more than 70 countries.
